You Can Take a Girl out of the Country..

It's a glorious morning to wake to the sound of birds chirping and the steady hum of a lawn mower off in the distance.  Spring is in full effect.  I welcome the flowers, sunshine, and activities with wide open arms.

During my visit to Georgia I teamed up with two very talented photographers, Shauna Veasey Photography and Theary Meak Photography.  The talent and unity made for a perfect day amongst creative minds.  Not to mention the pizza and beer to follow for these southern belles.

Brought to you by three inspirational moms in a field off the beaten path;

Georgia on My Mind

Over the last couple weeks this girl has experienced life's glorious hardships. Fortunately, the timing of everything has lined up for me to take a visit to Georgia with my kids and find peace in my family and friends. Since I have been in Georgia I have been able to focus on the people that matter the most to me and do the things that make me happy.

Is it not the best feeling to get dolled up to go out for a night on the town?
I must admit the beautification process is my favorite part :)
Last night, I did just that.

My mom and I picked our outfits and headed to a gig with her band.

#MEOW

I am confident everyone had a fabulous Friday and Saturday!
I hope each person invested in ONE thing that made them happy this weekend.

What's one thing you did for yourself this weekend?

Tis' the Season

The holidays are here! Festive lights and Christmas music combined with the loving touch of home cooked meals and the warmth of baked cookies!  This year I think we will check out the Christmas lights near Banner Elk. Mountainous lights sound pretty amazing.

Here's a recap on our Thanksgiving trip to Georgia..

At Lenox Mall Christmas shopping with my  mom and grabbed lunch
at Houstons.

I was able to rub on this gorgeous girls baby belly.

Put on my bowling shoes to beat the in-laws ;)
Thanksgiving Day at my moms.

How was your holidays?

LemonLove

On Memorial weekend the family and I packed up everything and headed to Georgia. We have not been back for a visit since baby Brantley was born in January- the trip was intended to enjoy family and friends. It also fulfilled the much needed break we seldom get from the kids. The weekend went quickly for us but it also came with a cherry on top.  After being together for 10 years Mr. Kendall and I made it official in October.   In celebration of this moment in our lives on Sunday we grabbed lunch with a good friend and had a dazzling photo shoot.  Mrs. Renee Hicks at Lemon Chic Photography got her gear together after having TWINS (!!!) and spent the morning with us shooting in downtown Decatur, GA. For more images you can check out Renee's blog LemonLove and check out behind the scenes fun with athomewiththehicks  :)
